Our cancellation policy
A Lasting Tale will always work with you, the Customer, to reschedule Online and In-person audio life story as our first priority. We know things happen, especially with our loved elderly and those in palliative care. If there has been a sudden and unforeseen event within our standard 5-day cancellation period (see below), please call and talk to us.
Our audio life story interviews can be cancelled and/or rescheduled by the Customer with no penalty any time up to 5 days before the scheduled Interview time. (Note if you paid via Credit Card/PayPal then we will not refund the Credit Card transaction fee, but all other monies will be refunded. There is no transaction fee for payments made by Direct Debit/Bank Transfer).
For cancellations made by the Customer: If the interview cannot be rescheduled then a full refund is given for cancellations made up to 5 days before the appointment. If there has been a sudden and unforeseen event within this standard 5-day cancellation period, please call and talk to us.
A Lasting Tale may also need to cancel/ reschedule/ change the Interviewer of a scheduled Interview due to unforeseen circumstances. In this instance, A Lasting Tale will endeavour to provide at least 3 days (72 hours) notice of any change. For cancellations made by A Lasting Tale: If the Interview cannot be rescheduled then a full refund is provided.
